Sam’s achievement embodies the work we do for our customers and the engineering industry. Her journey has been inspiring and we’d like to share a little bit about how Sam got here. Read on to learn how Sam achieved her Chartership in Marketing.
With five years under her belt at Oasys, she is a seasoned professional within the marketing space specialising in engineering software. For those that have had the pleasure of knowing or working with Sam, she is an enthusiastic and dedicated team member who has adapted to the role of Marketing Manager seamlessly after returning from maternity leave only a year ago, making her an asset to the commercial team. Since becoming a mother, she has remained supportive, selfless and as committed as ever to the role she plays within the commercial team.
Sam began her studies in Law, graduating from Newcastle University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Laws. Once in the world of work, she used her transferable skills to transition to a career in Marketing at a local accountancy firm. Joining Oasys in 2019, just before the pandemic, she found herself in the engineering industry. She quickly made waves with Oasys’ marketing efforts and has grown her team from herself to a headcount of three in just five years. During the pandemic, she utilised the copious amount of time she then had to complete the Chartered Institiute of Marketing Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing. A pandemic wedding, maternity leave and a baby boy later, she is now a Chartered Marketer.
We couldn’t be prouder to have incredible team members like Sam pushing the boundaries of our software development for the engineering industry. She is a testament to the work we do at Oasys, and we will continue to encourage our members to pursue further professional development.
