The Structural Awards 2022
On the 11th of November 2022, Oasys will be sponsoring two category awards at The Structural Awards 2022! The first category is Planet, recognising projects that have considered, “efficiency of design, sustainability, resilience, response to local conditions and regeneration.”. The second category we are sponsoring is Process which recognises projects that are, “technically challenging, innovative, or where the brief has been influenced to achieve or enhance desired outcomes.”.
Established in 1968, the IStructE Awards are the world’s leading awards for structural engineering excellence and Oasys are proud to be sponsoring this spectacular event once again. This year the awards are changing, entries will be judged based on four criteria: Planet, Process, Profession and People – “The previous awards have been replaced to open the awards to a richer and more diverse pool of projects…”. These changes acknowledge the innovative ways structural engineers are responding to emerging pressing issues in construction globally, especially the increasing threat of the climate crisis.
The 2022 shortlist includes some of the most impressive and carbon conscious engineering projects around the world.
We are delighted that some of the shortlisted projects include Oasys customers and we would like to wish all the best of luck for the upcoming awards. We are excited to join everyone in November to celebrate the commitments being made to the increasing demands and responsibilities of the structural engineering industry.
