Reinforced Concrete Design Software – Oasys ADC

Beam, Column & Slab design and analysis to international codes with concrete materials customisation. Ideal for pile reinforcement design, rectangular and circular.

Structural software for designing reinforced concrete beams, slabs, columns and piles

Oasys ADC provides the flexibility of working with standard concrete and reinforcement grades and rebar or defining your own. This structural design software is easy to use and is ideal for both building and foundation designers to assist with column design and more.

The program also checks the reinforcement detailing to ensure the design is code-compliant and buildable. Oasys ADC will automatically work out the worst moment and shear envelopes of applied patched loads. The result of these user-friendly features is a fully reinforced beam or slab design that takes detailing and span-effective depth checks into account.

How ADC Works

Input: Quickly define multi-span beams, solid slabs, and ribbed slabs, or columns and piles, using a model wizard. Advanced input options include choices of available rebar sizes, cover and detailing rules. ADC automatically includes user customisable patch loads and eccentricity effects in the analysis.

Analysis and Design: ADC checks all the reinforcement arrangement options against the loading combinations and detailing requirements to give you the lightest buildable concrete beam, slab, column, or pile.

Output: Reinforcement arrangement diagrams, cross sections, and tabular results.

Key Features & Benefits

  1. Choose the best reinforcement arrangements for columns and piles
  2. Automatically design the reinforcement layouts for multi-span beams and slabs
  3. Rapid input and editing of data using wizards and table entry

Capabilities of ADC

Beam and Slab Design

ADC analyses and designs multi-span beams and slabs, square and circular columns, and piles. The sub-frame model can include connecting columns. It automatically applies patched loads to work out the worst moment and shear envelopes. ADC can also redistribute the moments to maximise efficiency of the section. The end result is a fully reinforced beam or slab that takes detailing and span/effective depth checks into account.

Column Design

Analyse and designs square and circular columns and piles for axial loads and end moments, including automatically calculated eccentricity effects. ADC gives you a list of reinforcement arrangements that meet the detailing and load requirements, allowing you to make the final engineering choice.

Code Compliant Checking

ADC checks the reinforcement detailing on all beams and slabs to ensure that the design is code-compliant and buildable.

Compatibility

  • See Design Codes feature
  • Wizards to guide you in setting up the model
  • Work in a variety of units, whether preset SI, kN-m, kip-ft or kip-in unit sets, or specify them individually for each component
